The Baths of the thermal spring of Eleftheri, an area of unparalleled natural beauty, are located 45 km west of the city of Kavala on the coastal national road to Thessaloniki. For the last 20 years it has been out of operation and efforts are being made to reopen the site! However, you can visit it and enjoy a warm bath in one of the natural pools.

Since 1957, the Philippi Festival has been organized, hosting theatrical plays, musical concerts and other cultural events.

The Imaret of Kavala is located in a prominent position within the walls of the old city, on the Panagia peninsula. Its size is 4200 m². Its length is approximately 120 m. The monument, a masterpiece of late Ottoman architecture and a rare example of it in Europe. In recent years it has been renovated and operates as a hotel.
